Client feedback:
“I was very impressed with Connie Beith Design – the process worked well for my podcast logo. The scope out was pretty painless, and Connie didn’t need much direction which I appreciated. Her suggested designs were all good, but there was a standout. She kindly tweaked and duplicated a few things for me, and the whole project was very good from start to finish so I’d happily recommend Connie Beith Design.”
Research began by getting an understanding of the market, looking at British podcast designs and history podcasts. Following this, moodboards were created to provide visual direction for the designs and give a feel for the final outcome.
A range of initial ideas were created, focusing on the use of books as the source of information for the podcast. The historical figures have been introduced using a range of visual styles and compositions.
The final design heroes a book - the item which all Aspects of History content is focused on. Graphic 'spotlights' visualise the search for information in a text, while the historical figures are added in a minimal collage style composition. A second cover was created for the sister podcast - Spy Masters - following the same visual language as the main podcast cover.
